Valentines Day Catering
If you are planning on Valentines Day Catering, as an experienced Dorset Caterer, we have a few handy tips to share with you !!
To help you with your menu planning – here are a couple of “sexy” foods :
Chocolate – of course !!
Almonds, avocado, leafy greens, wild salmon, garlic, ginger, celery and bananas
TIP 1
It is important to us here at Claret Catering to make sure that we listen to our clients ideas when event planning with them. Make sure you do the same – do you know what your loved one likes to eat? Oysters may be a food of love – but not for everyone.
TIP 2
Good food cooked well will always be a winner. We are very lucky to live here in the South of England. Dorset Catering produce is outstanding, so buy local where you can.
TIP 3
Don’t cook too much! Your guest will always try to clear their plate, but at the end of the evening you want them to be undoing those buttons for the right reason.
TIP 4
Avoid too much garlic or any dish containing spinach or the like – trust us – its in your best interests!
TIP 5
We know you are hoping for a hot date – but too much chilli or spices is not the way to go.
TIP 6
Finally, if you are bold enough to surprise your loved one by cooking “naturally” – please at least wear an apron. Your evening should be remembered for “YOU & ME” not a night down at “A & E”.
